I just picked this up today and really rate it. have done nothing more
than run some practice laps until I got below 1:50 using the default
setup (lowered fuel to 12laps) in the Ferrari.
Then tried a novice race using same setup but lowered fuel for 4 lap
race distance and managed a 1.48.03 which just got me pole.
It took a couple of dozen races until I figured out how to steer clear
of the AI, especially on the 1st turn, plus some red mist mistakes but
I didn't want to give up my pole. Eventually won the race with a best
lap of 1:47.96, still a bit untidy though.
Anyway, anyone come across any setups/replays/times for this
track? or anyone tweaked the default a little and had good results?
I'm happy to use any car.
The record in record.ini is 1:46.71 so I now it's nothing special but
if anyone wants the replay I can post to the binaries group.
BTW, seen other posts about how good the AI is on the last banking,
this is a place I can really catch up on them as I take the low line,
flat in 5th, also the AI is a bit tardy out of the sharp left
following the first banking.

Ferrari felt a little short on 5th, tried the Lotus and did a 1:48.03
and an untidy 1:47.96 may lengthen 5th on the Ferrari but the
Lotus seems nicely suited to this track.

Lotus times where 1:47.16 and 1:46.87. Someone asked that
I post a Lotus replay to alt.binaries.simulators.autos so I've
posted the less embarrasing (tidier) 1:47.16
