I've been playing GP3 now for a few weeks and enjoying it for the most part.
Currently I am practicing at Monza only using autogears assistence. Also I
am using a thrustmaster gp1 wheel.
The problem I am having is that the curbs at Monza seem to completely upset
the back-end of my car. I am using a 6/1 front/back wing setup. I have
tried multiple spring, damper, arb setups but nothing seems to work. The
second I seem to touch a curb (especially at the first -goodyear? chicane)
the back end comes out and I am in a spin. My best time so far is about is
a 1.27:3xx but my average lap (when I can complete one without spinning) is
around a 1.28:5 to 1.29:5.
None of the other tracks I have driven so far seem to have this curb
problem. Any suggestions ?
Thanks
CG
Maybe try a bit more rear wing? Perhaps your combination is unbalanced. I am
running at 7 & 5 front/rear (I think - I'll have to check to be sure) and
I've done some mid 1:26's. No other changes other than top end gearing since
I was running out fo revs about halfway through the straights!
Hope this helps,
...Klinn
