RS-Shirter and GPL - now you can!!!

Gent's, FYI, I found this interresting little post on our forum.... and although I have not tested it myself.. it seems like the RS-shiter can be made to work in GPL!! Did I miss something here?? I followed the link and the D/L is for NFS5 (not GPL)!?!?!???? Maybe the GPL version was taken down?!!???!!?? It works pretty well here. In fact I just set a PB at Kyalami - closing in on you now Eldred :) The only problem I have at the moment is getting into reverse, but apart from that it is superb. It should at least tide me over until Papy pull their finger out and patch GPL to support the shifter properly. You use the NFS file for GPL. I was a bit bemused when I went to the page as well, but I thought, what the heck, and downloaded it anyway. It is a program which runs in the background and intercepts the gear changes and converts them to key strokes of the 9/PgUp and 3/PgDn keys on the keypad. All you have to do is download the file, run it and redefine your gear change keys in GPL. It should also work in any sim where you can redfine the gear change keys I reckon. It is the mutt's nuts!
