Again a "new" track for GPL: Red Rock, a converted N2 fantasy track.
It has been posted to the French Pits site. Since to many people have
problems with this site, because they post the converted tracks and
the beta of Noonan's Suzuka without his permission, again I can't give
the url to the French Pits site.
Andre
Well its funny they may post em, but I have yet to see one that works. I
find it funny since they cannot even steal something and post it correctly.
Kinda like the theif decides to rob a Gunshop.

I don't understand what you mean. All these addon tracks work
perfectly, Bull Run and Red Rock, allthough they have some graphical
glitches. But they both are great fun.
I read a couple of messages here that Papy released these N2 fantasy
tracks for free, so these tracks converted to GPL would not be
illegal, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok I did what everyone said not to and grabbed a track or two and well
nothing came up workable from that site that is all. I just laughed since
it did not even work.

tracks will be posted on other sites, who give the people who convert them
credit like David Noonan

I was doubtnig if I should post it. But I thought some people would
like to know this. Red Rock is a very fun track for GPL, afaik it's
not illegal to post the converted Red Rock, but the problem is that
the French Pits also has some illegal tracks on their site.
Even worse they posted the beta of Noonan without his permission.
They should take the illegal tracks off their site, so we can at least
spread their URL freely.

Something tells me you didn't "install" these tracks into the game.

Aw, I'd say Andre was right, Some people have a problem with the French pits
for not everyone does.

Maybe you should ask their permission to post the tracks, and show'em
how it's really done. ;)

I allready did, waiting for their answer.
Andre
well they are not there now. I was trying to decide whether to go out and
buy two games that I have no interest in and then get the convertor, well I
got a laugh in the end and I guess I will start looking at buying some
Nascar games.

You did remember to add them to the GPL season files, didn't you?

And to adjust the event variable at the top of the season files?

to visit the forum on GPLEA and d/l the fixes that someone has made
that allow the D3D patch and these tracks to work. He even did some
new graphics for SearsPoint (both) and Atlanta (not Road).
