A friend of mine, who is an hardware retailer here in Italy, gave me 5
Celerons to try and choose the one I wanted. They were 2 600s and 3 566s.
Well, on a BH6, I could only run ONE of these 566s at 100 FSB, and only
after flashing my bios to SS. Needless to say, this 566, which is rock solid
at 850/1.75, it's now my new CPU, but I expected the percentage of success
to be a little higher. Ok, they're quite all from the same batch (similar
serial numbers, week 28), but this is strange indeed. The good thing is that
this one boots up at 952/1.85, but suddenly crashes, so I'm waiting for a
Golden Orb and a 8x8 fan case to arrive (all results listed were achieved
with an infamous heatsink+fan).
In conclusion, yes, it's fast and inexpensive, but you need either a bit of
luck or large numbers 8-).
Bye,
Pietro

Got the Orb, stable at 952/1.9v.
Well, I feel satisfied... today 8-).
