I was experimenting with new wheels from the Tyre Barn (changing files in the Ferrari folder. When I was finished I tried doing some laps, but GPL kept giving me the message "Could not load the track". After clicking on "OK", next message was "Cancelling the weekend" with the only option being to click on "OK". I'm getting this message on all the tracks, whether in Training or Single Race mode. Everything was working fine before I tried some new wheels. I'm Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

If you did leave it, then the problem must come from another car folder. Try restoring them all to their original state (i.e. as they are on the GPL CD). I had exactly the same problem but when I removed all files but the .dat file from all cars that I applied the new tires to it worked as normal again. I had the same problem a while ago, the cause of it was with my BRM folder, whatever car I chose, not a single track would load. So I took everything but the*.dat file out and installed BRM again and voil, it's working again. marko Claude Beaudouin <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Same thing just happened to me. So, I jumped onto R.A.S. to see if it's happened to some poor slob out there - and it has! So, armed with info pointing to the cars (not the tracks??), I narrowed it down to the coventry.3do (dated 8/28/00) that I got from somewhere. -- Philip D'Amato [email hidden] 2000 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 2000 Audi S4 "Claude Beaudouin" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > I was experimenting with new wheels from the Tyre Barn (changing files > in the Ferrari folder. Indeed, if any of the files is wrong, even one of the car files, you get a 'could not load track' error. Andre
Thank you all for your help and sugestions. The solution was emptying the Ferrari folder, copying the ferrari.dat file from the cd to the Fer.. folder, and bingo, everything was fine. I was getting worried about having to re install the program (easy) and replacing all the tweaks and mods I've added. I promptly went to GPLEA and downloaded their Ferrari, and all was still OK. Thanks again.
