I would like to mark certain thread to be ignored but I haven't a clue
how to do it. Specifically those "slanderous" he said/they said threads
that are running in at least 3 different message threads. I clicked on the
little symbol to the left of the message header but this stupid MS product
still keeps dloading more of those inane messages. How can I stop this
program from doing that?
thanks for your help

Free the ICR2 source code!
Dave,
View Menu - Columns - make sure Watch/Ignore is checked.
Click in that column (looks like eyeglasses) next to the thread in question
to cycle through the options.

I think he did that. What you then also have to do is click the column
header to sort on that column. That way, "ignored" threads will move to the
end of the list, while "watched" threads appear at the top. Other threads
appear by date.
