Does anyone have any success stories playing any racing sims with Win2k?
In particular N3, F12k, GPL.
I have had limited success with these games, and I think my problem is with
my V2 1000 card.
Thanks

I have played both N3 and GPL briefly in Win2k without any problems at
all, I had a V3-3500 at the time, I haven't had time to race too much
lately, but I've run a little NHeat which seems to run just fine on my
V5500 card

Haven't done any real testing I'm afraid, so I can't help out with any
good suggestions, all I can say is that others seem to run at least GPL
and N3 just fine, so you might be right about the vid card issue, I seem
to remember that I ran GPL and N3 with the default drivers that came
with Win2k if that helps any
Beers and cheers

3D-addon cards like the Voodoo 2 are not supported under Win2K.

What do you base this statement on?

There are patches available that provide rudimentary support, though.

@flipper>:
Thanks for the links, but like the last message on the ars technica forum
said, why does mine work?
My card is showing up as a sound, video and game controller device. I
tested some of the little programs I wrote for glide 3.0, they worked OK,
just no go with N3.
Thanks for the help, I found some good links.
