I bought GP3 the other day and I think I would really like it if I could get my Mad Catz Andretti wheel to work!! I can never get it to calibrate properly. Has anyone had similar problems? How can I fix it. It works fine in SCGT but I have been unable to use it properly in GP3 Thanks -- Bruce Wappman Harrisburg PA ------------------------------------------------ Sign up for FREE DSL service and get paid to use it! http://freedsl.virtualave.net
Hmmm....Is everything updated correctly? I have the same wheel and GP3 works fine with it. "Wappman" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Updated correctly? Are there new drivers? I have this connected thru a USB port. In windows the wheel works ok but not in GP3. The small icon in the upper right corner of GP3 has a red slash through it saying the joystick/wheel is not connected. I will try again Regular Racer wrote:

Try connecting without the USB port... "Wappman" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Updated correctly? Are there new drivers? I have the andretti wheel as well. I tried to use it a few weeks ago (it sat on the shelf for a year because the tractor pedals were miserable) and I was never able to get it calibrated under Windows 98. Even downloaded the latest drivers (which are still very old). I'm not sure MadCatz really cares about this product any more. It's funny, but the web site is the same it was 18 months ago, and still hase all the "Coming Soon" tags all over the place :) -Larry Wappman wrote:

That's something else that bugs me. It was advertised as USB/GamePort, but when mine came in it only supports Game Port :( I were duped! -Larry Wappman wrote:

GP3/F12K Win2k works great. Just got this from Madcatz.. "In response to your email regarding the Andretti racing wheel. Unfortunately, the Andretti wheel is not supported by Windows 2000, yet. We are currently working on newer drivers that will enable to use the wheel on the newer operating system. The release date for the drivers is not yet certain, however we are confident that they will be up and running in the next week or two. We apologize for this inconvenience, Madcatz Tech Support" Mitch "Regular Racer" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:omtF5.2127$[email hidden]...
