Hi everyone, I don`t know if this has been discussed before, but I have never seen anything quite like my problem. I tried to install GPL in my office PC, and it works more or less well. Specs: PIII 450 64Mb S3 Savage 3D w/ updated drivers Win95 OSR2.1 DX7a GPL 1.2 with no-cd patch. The problem is, it will kick me out to Windows desktop as soon as I try to get into the car, or, in a replay, as soon as I try to go into cockpit view. All other views work fine, including the roll-bar one. It is something to do with GPL`s 3D accel, because it doesn`t happen in software mode. I tried different resolutions, removing the drivers arms, TossHighestMip 0 and 1 in core.ini, but nothing works. OT, got a new Duron 700 and a ASUS A7V 3 weeks ago, and it`s pouring along at 900 MHz impeccably! If someone is thinking about an upgrade, it`s the best deal I know of! Daniel Frois
Have you tried the D3D patch? Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling, that's what I would try. Just don't ask your boss for help ;-) "Daniel Frois" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
