LWFF profiler question?

Hi all I use the profiler mainly for gpl or gpl launch in vroc. But it seems very hit and miss if the profile is applied in the game. I select my profile then run vroc. Any ideas of how to get it consistent, or can someone post me an idiots guide in case i am missing something obvious Cheers Martin
