I have bought almost every driving simulator out there, and have never
had a problem with my steering wheel. Why then, after purchasing my
second EA sports (and last) simulator named F1 2000 do I again have the
same issue where it can't see my steering wheel.
Can't help you with your problem, but I love your surname! :o)

What wheel do you have?

It wont recognize mine in the control setup screen (the movement that
is, but it will see the buttons)
So create a new driver profile and leave the joy steering and throttle
assignments to their default and it should work. Anything for your
buttons you can change though

Uh, what kind of wheel do you have, and how's it configured? Also, could you
please turn off the HTML...?
