Anyone running a full field ? I cannot run a full field even at the lowest res. I'm beginning to lose interest. I love the physics, damn I like the game but without a full field, Nascar to me is not Nascar. And I cannot achieve it with my system,. 566@876 256 cas2 PC-100 ram IBM 7200rpm HD attached to a Promise Ultra66 Geforce2 MX O/C'd 189/204 latest drivers 6.18 FYI, GPL is close to being fluid even with a full field with 3D wheels.at high resolutions Dennis

That's impressive... I had four cars running with 3d wheels but deleted the wheels again because I allready noticed a slight fps drop... But remember, in GPL you have 20 cars running, in Nascar 43... Quite a difference, and quite logical I think that it will take a supadupa system to run 43 cars in high resolution with details high... Andre >Dennis > > >
come on Andre ....don't give up .........we will miss you ((-; "Andre Warringa" <[email hidden]> schreef in bericht news:[email hidden]...

sure am. i had the fuzzy dash until i did the renaming trick but one i did that it cleared up. In case you don't know if you rename paint.res to paint256.res and paint256.res to paint.res this will help clear things up. the paint.res is 512x512 textures were paint256.res is 256x256. there is about 10 meg of differance. here is my system specs AMD athlon 750 @ 850 128 meg pc133 maxtor hard drive (suppose to be a ata-66 but won't run with the ata66 cable) ATI Rage MAXX fury video card.
