You can't legally get Daytona for N3. Jason. Mike Bara wrote:

I have it and did have it working in N3 as someone posted a way to work around it but have since reformatted my drive and am unable to set it up again.

Ok, I've decided to break down and get a NASCAR sim. Problem is I can't decide between NH and N3. NH is attractive because of the visuals, the overall fun experience (at least in the demo) and because it has Daytona. N3 is attractive because it has Indy and that good old Papyrus physics and game play. NH lacks an in-race save game (I assume that N3 has this feature) and yet N3 does not have Daytona, which is really the race I want to run. But N3 is also $10 bucks less ... Now, I hear there is some way to get Daytona on N3? Can somebody tell me how? This will really clinch it for me if I can get Daytona for N3. Meanwhile, back to GP3 ... Mike

I don't know how to get Daytona myself, but N3 comes with 35 tracks compared to Heats 17. Heat has a much better physics engine than N3 though. N4 should be out around Feb. of 2001. If I was buying today I would buy Heat now and wait for N4. N3 simulates things like damage and yellow flags much better than Heat, but there is supposed to be a patch soon to fix those problems in Heat. I wouldn't buy N3 alone anyway, if you really want N3 then look for the Acceleration Pack. It has N3, Nascar Legends and the trucks add-on to N3 included for the price of one game. If you want to do online racing then N3 is the way to go right now. I personally would get Heat now and hold out for Nascar4. -- Nos
Just for your info, the physics in NH are allot better than N3. If you are looking for great online play then N3 is the choice. NH has a problem with damage being weak but they are supposed to get a patch out this month to fix that. Once that is fixed and if you don't care about online racing then NH is your only choice cause it'll blow N3 away on all counts except for the online play. Not entirely correct. Back in February, if you visited the track during the race, you get get an a demo of the track that just happened to work with N3. Granted, this version of the track (so far) only works with the demo, but this WAS a legal way to get the track. Now, since you received it for free, you could conceivably give it away (original CD) to anyone you wished. Jason Monds wrote in message <[email hidden]>...

I personally think the physics in NH, in Hardcore mode, and the AI blow away anything in Papy's sims, except GPL. Everything else about NH is pure arcade and generally sux. Needs a lot of patching. -- ----------------------------------- Morgan Vincent Wooten GPLRank: +15.49 http://members.tripod.com/~morganv/ ----------------------------------- Mike Bara <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Ok, I've decided to break down and get a NASCAR sim.
