My problem concerns my steering wheel. Yesterday, when I wanted to race my wheel was all of a sudden no longer calibrated correctly. I tried to callibrate it again, but it gave me troubles. Whenever I turn the wheel left the maximum on the right side increases. When I turn right the minimum on the left side decreases. The same happens with the axis for the gass and brake pedal. The wheel does not seem the problem because using a different controler gave the same problems callibrating. I then switched from the papyrus joystick driver to the directx driver and guess what: the problem was solved! But because the papyrus driver feels better to me, I want to solve this mysterie. Therefore I ask you if you know about this problem and/or can help me solve it. Thanks, Pascal Dukers WON-ID: [*JMB*]

you need to update your direct X 7.0 to 7.0a Download it from the microsoft site. This is a problem especially for microsoft prcision pro wheels. the first question with any Papy calibartion. Did you move the wheel to the left first? Careful reading of the calibration instructions inside most papy games will always produce a line similar to this: move the joystick fully left then right. Sorry if this is a basic answer, but we have to get it out of the way. dave henrie "Pascal Dukers" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:s58w5.10709$[email hidden]... > My problem concerns my steering wheel. It does not matter what I do: turn left or turn right first. With the directx driver I CAN callibrate. Dave Henrie <[email hidden]> schreef in berichtnieuws h8gw5.81300$[email hidden]...
