Very good. Lots of people have had it since day one and are still slower.

A good goal is to use the 107% table. Try to get all the times under a
certain percent (eg 110 or 115) before raising the bar. 107% at every
track will get you down to +10 or something.

There is a utility called the ringtrainer which make you start at any
point of choise. Don't know the url though :(
And you don't waste 9 minutes. You train 9 minutes more :)

You can change your pit location by editing the track.ini that's located in each
tracks folder. Below you can find the relevant lines I use for the Ring.
;stall_0 = 230.00 0 ; original pit stall
;stall_0 = 19200.00 0 ; start of long straight
;stall_0 = 11200.00 0 ; halfway
stall_0 = 13200.00 0 ; a bit before caroussel
stall_1 = 219.47 -9.30
stall_2 = 208.95 -9.30
stall_3 = 198.42 -9.30
stall_4 = 187.89 -9.30
Stall_0 is the one you need to change to start anywhere on the track. First
number is where your pit is located on the track (in meters), the second number
is for the left/right position of your pit relative to the middle of the track.
Good luck,

But i know i can still "win" a lot of seconds in Ring,
so my next goal is to pass under the 80.00.
BTW, is there a way to avoid the first "out of pit" lap in Ring ??
Because i hate to waste 9 mins for nothing before try to beat my PB
only at the second lap.

A GPLRank handicap of 80-something after one month is not bad at all.
I've had the game for two months and am getting close to negative (currently
+5.08).
>But i know i can still "win" a lot of seconds in Ring,
Yes, this is where you'll gain a lot of time. You need to be getting
somewhere in the 8:20's if you wish to go negative.

Good luck.

Ok, but when i know that the clock isn't working, i am not concrentated,
and i make mistakes. It's only when i know that the clock "works" that
i drive in my max in order to explode my previous best lap.

to
beat my previous best lap in the Ring.

Overall, yes. They may be slower on some tracks, but the ones they're faster
on makes up for it...
Meanwhile, I'm +50.xx. The only default I've beaten is Monza. I'm close at
Silverstone and Watkins Glen, but all the rest are sadly just a dream... :(

So Eldred what do you say we head off to whereever Erwan lives and
give him a talking to? I mean one month and he is at 93! I have been
doing this for at least a year and I am at 95.55! ARG!

Now, i was at 92.34 !!!! I was in the GPL Rank web site.
You can look, i am around the 850e-890e best drivers of GPL in the
world !!
BTW, thanks to all the guys in this NG to make me give a second chance to
GPL. I tried the demo 2 years ago and without the D3D patch and others stuffs,
I didn't like this sim.
Now, it's my best sim ever and i even didn't play anymore the others games i
have
like GP3 and F1 2000.
Since 1 month, if i count the % part of my racing games, here is it:
GPL 90 % of my "racing games" time.
Rally 2000 5 %
GP3, F1 2000, SCGT, GP500, etc.......the others 5 %
I have a MS FFSW but my best laps with it at GPL are, in average, 10 % slower
than
with my MS Sidewinder gamepad. Pretty weird, uh ???

83.53 after being at it for 4 days (okay, that's for the half-dozen I'd never

leaves me 901st. 750-800 is still a ways off. And Eldred, I think you are
safe from me.
Also, just (FINALLY) scored a sub-9 at the 'Ring. It really does help to
drive the other tracks. I've learned how to be a lot smoother.
As with many, Monza is the only track I've beaten the Papy team on (I'm sure
they are a lot faster now). I'm amazed at how fast some of these other guys &
gals are.
