All I can say about GP3 are two things: 1) Just stick with GP2 & 2) Just say no.
I'm not quite sure what you mean. I went back to GP2 after a while playing GP3 and GP2 just felt awful. The driving model in GP3 is a thousands times better. Try actually making a real comparison before jumping on the bandwagon. *SIGH* Tony wrote:

I disagree. Just say yes. Its much improved. The more time you spend with this game the more appreciative you get (or at least myself and some others have). This is surely an indication of the depth of the game. The AI and physics are far better than the same in GP2. Bandwagoning seems so prominent these days. Microsoft, Micheal Shumacher, GP3, F12000...

I was digging it :-) -- [email hidden]
The driving model in GP3 is not a thousand times better. It is slightly better. What Tony is getting at is the fact that GP3 is not 4 years of work from Geoff Crammond. So in other words it is not worth paying for the upgrade to GP3. We are still stuck without a modern F1 simulator that is good. As for comments that the AI and Physics are better that is a joke. The AI IMO is worse. Yes they are more aggressive however it still has some very, very annoying flaws. EG in qualifying the cars will use all their laps on a wet track and they wont come out at the death when conditions are better. The rest of the AI is the same as GP2 which was quite good. The phyiscs in GP3 are very poor. It has to be one of the most canned games on the market and don't give me the typical responces of "have you driven an F1 car" and "its only canned because you can't catch the slides" - Anyone tried a J Turn in it and YES F1 CARS can do J Turns I have seen one do it live in front of me. some > more of my hard earned money ! I love being ripped off." That's another issue entirely.
Its much easier to catch a slide than gpl. It takes a good setup and the most important thing to catching a slide is throttle control. You need to practice more, it's very controllable once you learn...
