Start out here: http://www.speedsims.com/index.cfm there is an excellent guide for SCGT which outlines most of the patches and fixes available for SCGT. Be sure to get the official patch (1.551) which fixes a number of wheel support issues and fixes the disappearing menu, and the Advanced Options Editor which allows you to adjust the game physics for a more realistic feel. There is a tremendous amount of online support for SCGT, hundreds of cars, cockpits, editors, sounds and such. Check out the links at Speedsims for more cool stuff. BTW, there is a simple cheat that will allow you to open all the cars and tracks in the game: At the game menu, type "isi-cheeseman" (without the quotes!) to enable the cheat mode. Then, enter one of the following codes at the game menu to activate the corresponding cheat function: Cheat Code: isi-tbone all tracks and cars isi-corsica all car parts maximum isi-plague GT3 League (dunno what this does) isi-aardvark Credits ($$$$) awarded I have found that after enabling the cheat mode, I have to advance one menu and then return to the main menu and type in the desired cheat code. Do this for each of the desired cheats. You will see "cheat mode enabled" flash on the upper left corner of the screen if you have been successful. I'm sure others here will have more suggestions for you. SCGT is a fun sim, but with some flaws. The 3rd party support of the game has greatly improved the title. -- don New GPL Programs for the Converted Tracks: http://www.ianparker1.plus.com/gpl/bapom/ You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted, then used against you.

Was in the mood for a racing fix and grabbed this out of the bargain bin. The manual says that finishing a season with enough points in either High or Max difficulty will open hidden tracks and cars. I finished the first season on High with 1st place finishes in all 3 events.... No new cars or tracks. Before I kill myself trying to make it through on Max I thought I'd try to find out if there was a point:) Any comments on the game are welcome. I'm actually not much of a racer, but I'm really enjoying it. Quite a bit more difficult and complex than any other racing game I've ever played. Though I'm sure it's pretty tame compared to the sims. Must have spent 3 hours last night playing with the cars setup trying to get some faster lap times with the base car instead of just buying improvements so I could save all my cash for the next season.
