I love the game too, but it is a bit hard to tell how fast I am entering a corner, which leads to alot of crashing, but makes for nice replays of my best crashes.

There I was enjoying Superbikes 2000 and eagerly awaiting SB2001, when I had the chance to buy GP500 for 10.00. Thought it would fill a few hours before SB2001 arrived in October. Damm GP500. Having played it for few days, and had much help from this NG, how can I ever return back to EA Sports efforts. The sense of speed in GP500 is wonderful, and infinitely better than SB2000 (and SB2001 demo). While the graphics aren't upto EA sports', they are more than adequate. My only gripe is that you can not replay a complete race, and there is no telemetry to study. Apart from that...what a game!!! PJ

Edit the GP500.INI file in your GP500 directory and add the lines- [GameSettings] replay_buffer = 4000 This should give you longer replays. I think 4000 equates to a 4 MB replay file, so you could go higher if need be. If it doesn't work check the GP_Troubleshooting.txt file in the same directory for the proper syntax. This only applies to races, not practicing, btw. I know exactly what you mean, GP500 is a wonderful game. I tried and loved the demo only to find it is not sold here in Canada... Major bummer!! Then again if someone were to reply to this post or to my email at [email hidden] with a warez site with the full version I'd be a very happy camper.. I normally wouldn't even think of getting a cracked version of a game I liked (I believe in voting with my dollars) but seeing as I tried unsuccessfully to buy it.... Hint hint... ;-') TIA

It is sold in Canada. Just search a little more, you will find it. If your so desperate to buy GP500, just order it online. -- -- Franois Mnard <ymenard> -- May the Downforce be with you... -- http://www.WeRace.net -- People think it must be fun to be a super genius, but they don't realise how hard it is to put up with all the idiots in the world.
