my card aint certified but it still runs, poorly though, i think that F12000 is just to sensitive to these things.

Hi fellow simracers, I have a PII 333@416, 64 MB RAM and a Hercules Thriller 3D 8Mb AGP, but I don't seem to be able to run F12k in hardware mode. In the hardware configuration screen I can only select software mode. Probably because my driver is not "certified by Microsoft" (this is what the DirectX diagnostic program tells me) This really irritates me, because I have no problems running other games with Direct3D like MGPRS and SCGT. They run like a dream. Does anyone know how to get around this problem, or if you yourself own this videocard and don't have this problem could you point me to the drivers you use ? The Hercules website doesn't help me al lot. Thanks ! -T

I believe that card has the Rendition V2200 chip, right? If so, that chip just doesn't have the power to really run F1 2000. God bless, Loren
