I've posted before I have never got into the feel of the GTR demos released
and theorised that my dislike of FF may have something to do with it (i.e.
it is designed to provide principal feedback via FF).
Having persevered with the V2 demo (the one with the Saleen) I found a tip
which referred to being able to change the FOV with the mouse. I like
running a low FOV in GPL (50) as I find it more immersive.
Changing the FOV in GTR has transformed the sim for me, the braking points
feel right now whereas they seemed too far away before and the feeling was
that I was driving a lesser car than my road car. This has made a huge
difference.

This may be old news but I hope it helps someone. I was disappointed because
I have heard many praise GTR here. Now I have will have to get it!

Sounds wicked. I'll check it out when I get my Betamax tapes next. These
aren't so easy to find, not sure why...
Word of caution: don't try to get yer Beta tapes in the slot on yer 8-track!
