Yes... but then how came that I have other DOS games (16bit) which work on
win2k?
I tested Gp2 in a win2k Beta Version and it worked, so
I guess it has to do with my hardware configuration
anyway thanks for your reply.

Has anyone been able to play gp2 in Win2k?
I installed win2000, started Gp2, and the screen get's all distorced, it
does not freeze or give an error.
As anyone had this problem? I use a P200 with a Voodoo Banshee.
Thanks For any Help.

Gp2 is a DOS game. Win2000 cannot run 16 bit Dos code.

Maybe, but i could run it in NT 4 Workstation, but not on my computer.
I'm inclined that it might be my hardware configuration.

Yes, I know, but really my image gets all distorced, what video card
do you have?
I instaled Win Me and althought no problems with the image,
I did not get any sound...

At moment I can't play Gp3 , because my computer is too slow.
I hope to upgrade later in the year, and hopefully replace Gp2 for Gp3
anyway I still play it throught a win98 startup disk ;))
Best Regards
Thanks a lot, please reply the results to this thread!

If you want to run GP2 with a few graphics add-ons, get GP3!

is a 16-bit real-mode DOS game. GP2 won't work at all. Same distorted screen
problem as you. Who knows?

Hi!
I'll borrow my brother-in-laws copy and test it on W2K and report back
to you. I think it should work, W2K *can* run 16-bit DOS programs,
even NT4 can do that...

Have you also tried setting the video to 8bpp, 256 colors before
running GP2? Perhaps Win2k is getting fouled up trying to push
indexed color to a high or true color screen while emulating dos at
the same time, etc.
