Hot lap replays going AWOL

I've downloaded a few hot lap replays off the net but they go complelty AWOL after about 1/3rd of the lap. It's as if the car is getting ahead of itself and thinks it's further up the track than it really is. For example at Spa the car will try to turn into Les Combs about 800 meters before the corner and promptly crashes into the barriers. Sometimes the cars will even start to go the wrong way down the track. This doesn't happen with my own Hot-laps mind you. I think it's because my PC always runs under 100% occupancy even at 25fps and the hot lap replays from other machines just get out of sinc when played at less than 100% occupancy. I tried this out on my second slower PC and found that I can only relpay hotlaps if I get over 100% occupnacy. Does this happen to you too? and is there a way to fix it? Some Call Me Tim

The hotlaps you downloaded are designed for use with the ORIGINAL tracks. If you are using modified tracks or updated tracks, the hotlaps will mess up. Return to using the original tracks and the hotlaps will work.

Not strictly speaking true. What is correct is "if you have a different track set to the ones used to create the hotlaps, it will go tits up! In order to see hotlaps correctly, you must be using the same track set as the person creating the hotlaps. I have an updated set of tracks. If you were to look at any of my hotlaps and you were using the original track set, then it would go tits up! TH^v^ was there....... I've tried it out with a brand new install. It's something to do with the low occupancy on my PC. I can run htolpas no problem if i slow the PC down so the occpancy is above 100%. Some Call Me Tim
