I just bought a 600 and overclocked it to 900 on my Abit BE-6. The only thing I had to do was flash the CMOS to the latest BIOS so that it would recognize the 9.0 multiplier. Help! Can you overclock a Celeron 600, 633 or 667, 66mhz ->100mhz with Abit BH6??? I have tried to buy an Celeron 566mhz but they don't sell them anymore. I was really looking forward to some faster graphics when I play GPL but it seems to come trough harder then I thought. So if anyone have tried to OC this/those processor/s with that mobo, please answer. I am in a buying mood!!! Thanks! Regards Robert

I currently running my cel II 600 @ 900 MHz on that mobo. The answer is maybe, maybe not depending on how good core on the cpu you get. Remember to cool it properly and bump up the voltage. Since you seem to be from Sweden you can go here for further info www.sweclockers.com -- Greetings Johan N [email hidden]

What do you mean that they don't sell the Celeron 566 anymore? I just got one about 3 weeks ago from www.transcendpc.com and am successfully o/clocking it to 850 on my ABIT BH6. For more info on your question, try these newsgroups: alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.abit alt.comp.hardware.overclocking Good Luck. Robert Andersson wrote:

Hmm, you should be able to get a Celeron 566 from www.allstarshop.com. I got one from there about 3 weeks ago, working very well on my BH6. -- Don Burnette Dburn in N3 and Legends ICQ# 74084566 "Robert Andersson" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8qnr3r$ue$[email hidden]... > Help! Yes they do. I just ordered a Celeron 566 from Sunshinestar.com ABiT BE6-II MB, Celeron 566, Golden Orb fan for $240. Pretested and guaranteed to run at 850 MHz, of course I'll still try to take it higher :) Look under Overclocking Specials for it. "mhowell" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
