I've never found the driving model of RC2000 100%
convincing - I know its a very good, but I always find
something disconcerting about it. The best way I can
describe it is that the controls seem to be extremely
sensitive - making both steering and brakes difficult
to use.
I've heard of patches for this game - but perhaps someone
can tell me - do I simply need more practice, or are there
know faults?
Thanks,

You need to patch it for sure.
You can adjust gravity so the car doesn't "Fly in the air"
You can adjust surfaces "stickness" so grass and gavel do not slow you down
as much as they do
You HAVE to play a lot with the steering sensitivity and the controller dead
zone.
It is a great game, but rallye masters is even better (for fun)

Check out my webpage (sim section) for details of the patch, etc.
