GPL Scrapyard - fairly major problems for a while :(

Phew, what a few weeks! You may remember I had a hard drive crash - well, just a week later I had another, worse one... So, the computer is now working (though some things remain to be set up, hence this post's Deja origins), but... I discover that in my absence, my webspace provider (freedom2surf) have changed their T&C, and now no longer allow files to be hosted (at all). So they've deleted them. With no warning - not even an e-mail saying "your files have been deleted". Thanks, folks(!) And, of course, I had no backup of GPL Assistant v0.60 - stupid I know, but there you are. Sooooo... if someone who has downloaded GPL Assistant version 0.60 would please e-mail it (and the accompanying documentation) to me (at the normal x-stream address), I'd be very grateful. When that happens, I'll start looking for a webspace provider who have some concept of customer relations. Oh well, I suppose that means banner ads... Thanks. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

By the way, I do hope you haven't lost the source code? This all starts to sound too familiar to the GPaL history :)))) Andre >Thanks. > > >Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ >Before you buy.

In any case, version 0.70 is going to be more or less completely rewritten, as it's getting so I can't read my own code! New features planned include the long-awaited damage option for training mode, and (if I can get it to work), and option to change the current driver while using the same configuration - this is a little tricky as I can't just copy across the player.ini because that would overwrite all the lap records! -- David.
