Thanks for checking that out - it sounds like a big
improvement over what I see on the V770 32Mb non-Ultra
(8-12 "jaggies" on the spoiler of the car ahead).
Of course if I play with the options in the Detonator 6.18
drivers, I might be able to improve things. Haven't tried
this much.
Thanks again for checking that out.

How much improvement would this card be over a
Diamond Viper V770 (non-Ultra) 32Mb based on TNT2?
I have a P3 550 with the above card. I get a certain
amount of jaggies. But your pictures, while they
have some jaggies, do look like an improvement
over my display. For example, look in Pic 4
at Mike Skinner's spoiler, or Nadeau's roof,
or the outside retaining wall in general.
There is a small amount of "jagginess" there,
but it's much less than what I see on my machine.
(A good place I've found to check jagginess is to
look at the spoiler of the car ahead, when it's
on the banking and I'm not.)
Would the Hercules card make any difference in
terms of fps and opponent count capability?
Thanks

Before you buy.
I just posted some pics of this great game using my Hercules 3D Prophet II
card (only $129 at Best Buy) for all to check out.
There are also some Superbike 2001 pics on my site too. I can't recommend
this card enough! What a great deal and very powerful for the small cost.

I must add that there is NO slowdown at anytime during racing with this
card! Even smoke/dirt effects don't bog it down in any way. What a deal.
(btw I'm running 16 cars at a time in Nascar Heat due to my 450 not liking
much more than that)

Those pics are pretty impressive. I'm currently stuck with a 15" monitor
running at 800x600 because my 19" monitor stopped working. When I get it fixed
or buy a new monitor I'm gonna have to look into a GeForce2 MX.
Thanks for sharing...

can't comment on the card you are using now since I never had that one.
Later this week I'll be replacing my 450 CPU with an PIII 850. I'll post
any significant changes to fps here. I would assume I'd be able to add many
more cars, but it's a memory thing also.
I'll post a pic like you said, car ahead banked while you are not, so you
can see how it looks. Check my site again shortly.
:)

instead. Hope that helps you.
