There is a controls.cfg file in your player folder in GPL. -- don New Programmes for the Converted GPL Tracks http://www.ianparker1.plus.com/gpl/bapom/ Ashley McConnell <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8ra12d$osr$[email hidden]... > Hi Folks, > > Anyone know where the calibration values are held in GPL. hmm - then after having found the optimal settings etc. Could I then set i to read only - then GPL wouldn't overwrite it ? Karsten Borchers don hodgdon <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8ra7cs$1p1$[email hidden]...

I have calbrated my wheel recently and the pedals feel great, i need to stamp on them pretty hard to get the wheels to lock up and i have very little sliding when braking :) It would be nice to be able to reproduce it again without hoping to get it right by calibration Ash

Hi Your controller change over time, and temprature difference. Potmeters get vorn. You have to recalibrate from time to time. Stefan Zscharnack

Occasionaly, GPL seems to forget I even have a wheel (MS Precision jobby) and resets all controls back to the keyboard! I then have to recalibrate and reasign all my controls to my buttons. There seems to be no logical answer to it as it happens after a normal exit (from GPL) and it has happened in multiplayer and single player mode.
