It took 5 weeks to arrive and cost an extra 8.19 in import duty on top of their quoted price. After ordering the gane, I heard of the company Strategic Plus Software who are based in the UK and offer imported titles. You can find them here: http://www.strategic-plus.co.uk/entrance.html Apparently they have Nascar Heat in stock and do next day delivery. I have not used this company so cannot confirm how good they are but at least they are in the UK so you won't have any extra charges. Apparently there is not going to be a uk release.
Try here, it will be about the same price as a UK shop including shipping.. http://www.cdmag.com/cgi-bin/order.cbi_home?source=83717&add=NASCH.IR -- Steve Levett Flyer#10 on WON --------------------------------------------------------- Lets Go Flyers Co-Founder of 502 Racing The European Racing League - http://drive.to/erl Sponsored by Thomas Enterprises - http://www.thomas-superwheel.com/ --------------------------------------------------------- "Paul Jager" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:SGCC5.203318$[email hidden]... > Suppose I'll have to buy it off the net and have it sent to me. Yes, don't order from Chips 'n' Bits. It took them two seeks to ship my copy and a further two weeks for it to cross the pond. I am glad I did not pay the extra for express delivery if it takes them that long to put it in a box. Incidentally, it was packed loosely in a large cardboard box so it had the corners nicely rounded off. There was an extra £7 to pay for customs duty, thanks to the paperwork supplied by Chips 'n' Bits. I sometimes order software from another US company (not a games supplier) who are smart enough to word the documentation in such a way that duty is not charged by customs. Worth the wait though - it's a good sim. And at least you get to start off with the patched version from day one. -- Mark Croasdale ICQ 21549408 Paul Jager <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:SGCC5.203318$[email hidden]... > Suppose I'll have to buy it off the net and have it sent to me.
