Here's a thought, if I were to use the USB converter, which comes with
the MS Sidewinder Precision Pro (non-ff), on the MS Sidewinders
Precision Pro force feedback version, would it work?
I've been searching for a USB version of the FF Precision Pro for
months, but have only found it available for the serial port. That's
no good for me. I need to be able to use the USB port.
Has anybody had any luck in this area?

Can't answer your question about using the converter with the FF Stick, but
I'd like to try using the converter on some other sticks. Do you know where
I could buy just the converter?
Thanks,
Scot

The manual which came with it instructs you not to use it with ANY other game device, as it could damage it. Knowing this, the only reason I
asked is that the MS Sidewinder Precision Pro Non-FF and Sidewinder Precision Pro FF are indentical joysticks, except for one exception -
the force feedback.
