Where can I download the demo at? I have tried the link that RatBag sent me and it don't work. It will get to about 11meg and then say the file is done. I have had the same problem at 3dfiles.com. Its getting really old waiting for an hour and the download not working. PLEASE HELP! Thanks =================== Dwayne -------------------------------------- Saw It... Wanted It... Had A Fit... Just downloaded it off the ftp.saix.net mirror linked from 3Dfiles. I got an 18.2Mb self-extracting file which installed without any trouble. Still waiting for the SBK2001 demo download to finish so I can try my hand at Sprint Car racing. ;-) Jan. =--- Dwayne wrote... > Where can I download the demo at? One of the tracks in the game, the Kokomo Speedway, is 1/2 mile across a corn field from me :) Needless to say, I've seen plenty of sprint car racing. > What am I looking to do.. do I modulate throttle in the turns or not? You have to get off the throttle earlier than you might think, and be almost completely off the gas through the apex of the turn. I usually have the throttle cracked a little bit open, though. It's possible to go wide open all the way around the tracks, but it's faster, especially at Terre Haute, to really slow down a lot and hug the inside of the turn. I can regularly hit 15 second laps, which sounds a bit fast for a flat 1/2 mile track. Kokomo is a flat 1/4 mile, and a good lap is 14 or 15 seconds. -- Pat Dotson
