Thanks, I did not see any improvement in GPL etc,
it was crashing NH to the desktop, installed 7
and everything back to normal, strangly my 3Dmarks
increased with the DirectX 7 !

I would personally hold off on the beta, especially of DirectX. It's fairly
important for most games and is a pain to get DX7 back since you have to
wipe it completely out.
would be better to wait until the final is out so you can justify whether
the final version is any good or not.
