the english version....
Release date is planned around 4-5 weeks after that.
So the 27 of october seems a reasonable date.
Besides that for those interested in REAL races there will be MAJOR changes
in the rules for the 2001 season, we shall test the biggest improvement next
week-end in le mans with 2 Trucks (Ferte's MAN and our Mercedes) to make the
races MUCH more entertaining for the spectators.
The PS1 version of MTBR should be out "for xmas" and there is another game
planned which would include all the teams (MAN and CAT on top of us) which
is in the early development stages...(To be a bit mean with the other brands
I have to say that Mercedes DID ask them if they wanted to be part of THIS
game before the project started, they said no and now they want to be in a
game...)
If anybody is interested in more details about the 2001 rules i can put in
short what the changes will be
The last beta (which in fact was beta 0.01 since beofre only a demo was
released) was also in english, with many mistakes....

Oh, where did you get this information? I never heard of a PS1 Version if
MBTR.
Cheers
- Robert
I heard it from Michael GUTZEIT, from Mercedes.

is! Low-speed chases, it's all about cornering speed, as all the trucks
run at the same top speed of 160kmh (100mph), and there doesn't appear
to be drafting advantages. As yet, I don't actually know anyone else
who has it, so I haven't tried the online (I'm sure Meat has, though,
so I'd be interested to hear what he had to say about it)
I notice the FF isn't available, and I see that that is subject to the
obligatory patch, but the driving model seems like a lot of fun to me.
One question, I'm sure I must have set something wrongly somewhere,
because my side view mirror doesn't move, it merely shows where I was
at the beginning of the session (either the side of pit lane or
somewhere at the back). Could be because I've turned the mirrors off,
of course.
Bottom line, a great game, I'm pleased to have it, and any other help
from Meat/Txl etc would be superb.
Cheers all

Before you buy.
Well, you should see the real races where to pass you HAVE to touch the guy
in front....
FF is still a problem remaining to be solved though....
The UK version should be out anytime during next week or something like
that.
