Hey, Does anyone know if the Act Labs RS Shifter cam be modified to work with other wheel/pedal combos? Namely a TSW wheel/pedal combo.. Just wondering if it can be wired into the system like a regular shifter is? Thanks again for any helpful info. Mick

It can be wired like a regular shifter as long as your TSW has at least 2 buttons. It could be wired as a free shifter if your TSW had enough buttons. -- Slot www.slottweak.com Tweaks & Reviews Mick <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Hey, > Does anyone know if the Act Labs RS Shifter cam be modified to work > with other wheel/pedal combos? Actually, I found that you can use the RS Shifter with ANY WHEEL in ANY GAME with ShiftIT. ShiftIt recognizes the RS Shifter even if it's the 2nd controller. I've been playing GPL with my MS FF and shifter instead of non force RS :) Thanks, Alex GTX_SlotCar <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8prF5.7150$[email hidden]... > It can be wired like a regular shifter as long as your TSW has at least 2 > buttons. Some games won't recognize 2 controllers, so it won't work that way with all games. -- Slot www.slottweak.com Tweaks & Reviews Alex Kihurani <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:1t_F5.4915$[email hidden]... > Actually, I found that you can use the RS Shifter with ANY WHEEL in ANY GAME > with ShiftIT. The easy, but expensive, solution would be to buy a PDPI L4 card, the ActLabs Force RS/Shifter combo (optionally with L4 engine) and just hook both wheel/pedal-combos up to the L4 (you can also hook up the ActLabs through its regular serial or USB connection, if you don't want the L4 engine). Then you'll be able to use virtualy any combination of wheel/pedals/shifter (either through support for multiple controllers in games like GPL, or using the Virtual Joystick software of the L4). I currently mostly use the ActLabs wheel and my TSW (Momo) pedals, and I've also tried the TSW with the Shifter. > Thanks again for any helpful info. Cheers, > Mick Herko
