Just picked it up (at EB in Winston Salem NC for those that may live
around there), and ran 3 quick races with it. During install, it
seamlessly loads the original DTR tracks if you have DTR installed--
very nice. Try Sprint Cars on the figure 8's ;-)
The cars drive a little differently than in the demo, as I sent
Slammin' Sammy barrell-rolling down the back straight at Eldora on the
first lap as I tried to drive it like the demo. I haven't tried any of
the car set-yet, so I don't know how much affect they have.
Track textures look better, as expected. The career mode functions the
same as DTR with inverted fields based on qualifying. The replay mode
doesn't have as many camera angles as I would like, but it's functional-
-better than nothing. Money well spent, it's worth far more than $20!

Before you buy.
Thats a very nice feature and encourages customer loyalty. If Papyrus had
included a feature in N3 that imported all those tracks from NR1999, I might
have considered purchasing it.

Hey Dave, what a freakin' coincidence..... I got my copy at EB in W-S, NC as
well! 'Tis pretty amazing when you view thousands of cyber-space miles every
day, only to bump into someone that ends up being a next door neighbor.
DTRSC truly is a great game. I've waited for a true sprint car game for
years, and I still can't believe this thing (like the original DTR) was only
twenty bucks. What a thrill!
