Here you go: http://www.fortunecity.de/kunterbunt/welt/918/Voodoo5DX7-Beta101300.zip I installed the drivers (remember you need to do it twice, once with setup.exe and once by using DeviceManager, and you should install the 1.03 drivers first to get the new 3dfxtools), reset all the direct3d/opengl settings to the fastest settings, enabled GA, overclocked to 172 as before, and the result is....no improvement over the 1.03 drivers in any benchmark (Q3A, wizmark, wintune98, SOF) 3dmark exits without showing a summary screen with GA enabled, but 1.03 showed slight increase). Others are reporting significant fps gains with various games and 3dmark. However I do not have the ideal system for these drivers: K7-700 with AMD chipset (not VIA which these drivers are supposed to help) Voodoo3-3000 128meg rms [email hidden]

The V5 drivers work fine on V3s, you don't get all the options or speedups of course. rms [email hidden]

> gonna test them now on my voodoo4 4500... seems to be no performance difference on my Athlon 750 / ASUS A7V / V4 4500 compared to the V1.03.00 drivers using 3dmark2000 Default Benchmark. Before: 3365 After: 3368

Just tried them out. I seem to be getting about a ~5-7 fps increase with the new driversin CFS-2. I was getting 25 level and 18 dogfight, now I'm getting 30+ level and 25 in a dogfight. The T+L switch now works as well. Kevin "Roger Squires" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:zwmH5.3529$[email hidden]...

I just bought a Voodoo 4 4500. I'm new to gaming but it seems the performance of this card varies widely even within the same game. Could someone explain how I can go about verifying my FPS rates? Thanks. Jeff

In CFS-2 (or any MS flight sim) press <SHIFT> and <Z> 3 times and you'll see the frame rate. Best, Kevin "Highgear" <highgear@(removethis)hotmail.com> wrote in message news:2OsH5.111980$[email hidden]...
