It might be one of those "3D accelerator" only tracks. Snetterton was the same way until I installed my old V1 on my server. For a test, you could set your gaming PC to software mode and try to run the track. Jason. "T.Galvin" wrote:

Solitude is one of those tracks that requires a 3D card. That's why I have so far been denied the pleasure of smashing Ferraris into its gorgeous scenery. +Cinquo

Just a shot in the dark. What vid card do you have on your server? Some converted tracks(and I don't know about Solitude) won't run in 3d mode unless you use a 3dfx card with glide. Hmm - mine works fine on Vancouver, Elhkhart, and Mid Ohio, but not Solitude. I have an ATI 3D Rage Pro, but in the GPL config, it has 'none' as the 3D acceleration... Thanks people, No 3d card must be the problem, It seems a bit sillly that I have to install a 3d card on my dedicated server to load one track but so be it. Todd.

If you ever hope to run the converted ICR2 tracks(Road American, Mid Ohio etc) for GPL, using Noonan's convertor, then I think you will need it for those as well. dave henrie

With the UMCServer it was only a few tracks that would not run until the voodoo2 was installed. All of the GPLEA tracks (Pants, Sneet, Solitude, and Goodwood) Atlanta (not road) Vancouver Elkhart Lake Mid Ohio Pocono both Sears Points had really bad graphics problems. The UMCServer is now on a P3-1GHz with a TNT2 video adatper running D3D so this is not a problem! I need to install the Voodoo2 in another compute that can be up 24/7.
