I have a celery 566 @ 873 MHZ and am wondering what kind of framerates I can
expect with 2X FSAA. What about a GForce 2 MX with the FSAA turned on? I'm
thinking of buying one of these but also thinking about saving for a Voodoo
5500 since FSAA is what I'm interested in.

Nascar Heat Benchmarks from my Athlon 700 / 256mb / Voodoo4 4500
Full Detail
640x480 No FSAA 56,9 fps
640x480 2xFSAA 56,9 fps
800x600 No FSAA 56,9 fps
800x600 2xFSAA 53,5 fps
1024x768 No FSAA 56,9 fps
1024x768 2xFSAA 35,0 fps
1280x1024 No FSAA 43,0 fps
1280x1024 2xFSAA unavailable
Fill Rate Benchmark without FSAA: 337 MPix/sec (great)
Fill Rate Benchmark with 2xFSAA: 160 MPix/sec (ok)
I play NH in 800x600 with 2xFSAA enabled, looks awesome because of the
Hi-Res textures and you don't notice the 3fps less in gameplay, it's just as
smooth as without FSAA. At 1024, performance suffers when you enable FSAA,
but with a small field it is still playable.

I have a P3 800 and Voodoo5 5500. I get 53fps with 2X FSAA on (56-57
without). I would think the V4 would perform like a V5 at 4X FSAA.
When I turn it on to 4X FSAA I get a lousy 35 or so FPS. Many of my
flight sims don't drop much with 4X on so I can only surmise that fill
rate is important to Nascar Heat.

Forgot to add that my benchmark was at 1024x768 and was 53fps at 2X
FSAA on a P3 800 w/256mb ram. As I thought, the 2X on a V4 is about
the same performance level(a little better) as 4X on a V5.
