Hello. I recently bought a new computer and I am having a very
difficult time trying to get my Logitech Wingman Formula wheel and
pedals to calibrate and accept settings. I had no problem on my old
computer. I've tried everything I can think of. Yes I calibrated in
Windows and through Wingman software. I've also created a profile. It
is working in GPL and GP3. The pedals aren't recognized and the shifter
paddles are not recognized. It does recognize buttons 3 & 4 if I set
them to accel and brake. Can anyone help? Has anyone else had this
problem?
Running P3 733, 128 Meg Ram, ATI Fury Pro / Expert 2000 Max,.

Have you calibrated "Joystick 2" - the split axis pedals will be recognised
in that.
It works fine with both my Logitech Wingman Formula and LWFF. I cant
understand why the buttons wouldnt be recognised.

Many users are confused by the operation of the game configuration in GP3.
Below are some basic notes we have created to try help....but if you still
can not get it to work then the best thing is to call the game developer
technical support and they should be able to guide you through the
configuration.
---------------------------------------------
Grand Prix 3
Game Version: CD version that shipped in Aug2000 in the US
WingMan Software Version: 3.62
OS: WinMe and DX7.0a
Configuration Notes:
The game does not automatically detect if the controller device is a wheel
or a joystick, as a result this must be selected by the user.
The game calibration screen only displays X and Y axis reports, so it seems
that "separate" pedals mode is not supported.
We have received many questions from users who are confused by the method of
configuring controls in the game. In advanced controls screen you can create
a "user set" control method that will allow you to specify button
assignments for gear up, gear down ...etc...
The game only presents the user with the ability to choose from 4 buttons
when assigning controls.
If creating a custom user profile with WingMan softare prior to 3.62 you
must specify the file GP3.ICD as the executable, and launch the game from
the desktop shortcut or start menu item.
Force Feedback:
WingMan Formula Force :- Effects are present for driving on road, driving on
grass, collisions with other cars, and collisions with barriers.
