I need assistance with a problem with Grand Prix Legends.
The game launches and runs fine through WINVROC but the game will not go
past the Sierra Sports splash screen when offline. In fact, it locks up the
computer and I have to reboot.
PIII 700
Win ME
Herc. Prophet GeForce 64 mb 5.32 herc drivers
128 mb ram
USB modem
Any ideas? If it runs through WINVROC it seems to me there is some type of
configuration problem not allowing it to start and run when I'm offline.
Thanks for helping.

Just a vague suggestion Jim, but I've recently learned that when
joining races over VROC, the VROC program passes the host servers
settings to the client (you), and they override the settings in your
core.ini. When you launch gpl offline your using your core.ini
settings. So, I'm guessing it something in your core.ini, but I
haven't a clue what.

KauppilaI had this problem also after loading the D3D patch. But as it turned out, it
didnt lock up my computer, it just takes forever to load!
Just try waiting, mine takes upwards of a full minute before going past the
sierra screen.
