Thanks to a competition held by those nice folks at SimHQ, I'm now the proud
owner of a copy of Nascar Heat.
I'll admit to never having watched this form of motorsport before, and so am
a bit at a loss as to where to begin with this title. Can anyone point me
towards some web resources to help? Driving hints? Setups? Even the
rules......it all looks a bit different to GPL.
Thanks for any help that anyone can give a clueless Englishman!

Ian, I'm a UK Nascar nut and I have NH too. I'm at work at the moment,
but if you'd like to drop me a line on my home addy (

trouble at all.

Before you buy.
Blackhole Motorsports (www.bhmotorsports.com) is a site with lots of setups
& info. High Compression (http://www.high-compression.com/) has some
amazing car art/utilities. And the main site for Heat is the hasbro site
(www.hasbrointeractive.com/nascarheat)
--ed.

The key Ian is to remember, a left turn follows another left turn..
get the patch first of all, then check out Blackhole motorsports. They have
some good stuff.

button on the left and then click on the "Nascar Heat" button that pops up.
This will give you tips, tricks, cars and links to various sites that
support Nascar Heat. Also, the Racers Domain Drivers Club runs a "NHEAT"
series. Drivers Club membership is free but you must either be in an online
league or join an online league of any kind ex: GPL, N3, etc.

Thank you one and all for your suggestions. I'm getting the hang of this
now, and it is fun. Makes a good diversion from GPL!
Just need to try and fix my steering problem so that I can run it with my
YNT2 card rather than endure the lousy graphics served up by my ageing
Voodoo2 card....
