I haven't tried multiplayer yet with NH. My brother-in-law wants to race me
and get his butt kicked. I'm on cable and he's on 56k modem. Shouldn't I be
able to 'create' a game and have him 'join' it using my IP address? Or is
there something tricky I don't know about. We haven't been able to connect.

If he can "see" your ip after typing it in, he should be able to join. You
have to be in the chat lobby for it to work. Another alternative is to get
the Internet Race Finder and both of you join a race already posted.

Also, if your ISP is like mine, what your computer thinks is your own IP is
not what the rest of the world sees, so you have to go to ask.com or
something to find out what your real IP is...
