looks like heaps of ppl are reinstalling this one. I'm having a problem
also. I just reinstalled, applied the 1551a patch and then the touring car
patch following all the instructions, extracting the scene.mas etc. If i add
cars they show up fine but i dont have any tracks displaying. Yet they are
all there in the normal game.
any ideas ?
Shane
The Touring Car patch uses a different save folder, so if you are running
tccar.exe, all of your settings are saved separately from the spcar.exe
settings even if you use the same player name for each one. You might try
using the all cars and tracks cheat when you are running tccar.exe, if you
have not already done so.

I've since been trying to figure out how to get the touring cars to run in
the GT3 or GT2 class rather than having to install the TC Patch which wipes
out all other classes :-( but could use some advice!

They have merely added another .exe file that lets you have 4 more
classes. Theoretically, you could have an unlimited number of
spcar.exe's with altered names and have unlimited classes of racers. and
none of them would intrude on the other. TC patch is not destructive of the
older cars and tracks....and Bathurst is well worth the dload.
