All installed fresh, lwff on USB, CHPedals with a joy on a gameport.
All works great in GPL.
I do all the setup in gp3, so lwff is device a for steering, and b
axes z and irz are my split axes accel and breal. I also check the
proper calibration method, for wheels, and calibrate. Tha game sees it
all, and OK's it.
I get into the cockpit, and my cursor goes up to tire selection, and
does not react to brake throttle. Steering works though. I try
quickrace, so I am on the grod, and tan the throttle is at 100%, and I
can't even break.
What is going on. I tried reverse calibration, so that for full acc I
do nothing, and no acc I do full, but it doesn't help either. Out of
ideas. Can anyone help. I repeat, the pedals are in two axes mode, and
all is fine in GPL.
Thanks guys!
P.S. Maybe I should just stick with GPL :)
Got my MSFF wheel working fine with split access.
There is a trick with the configuration. You have to click on the yellow
box
so that it has a box around it. Very weird user interface but you have to
do this.
Go back into the config and have a play. You'll see what I mean.

But, when I configure
the same, even without FF for the CH pedals, it doesn't work. What's
even weirder, I set up the throttle on my lwff pedals, and just the
brake on CH Pedals, and it worked!!!!!!!!!!! Than I just changed it so
that accel is also on CH, and it stopped working and reports full
throtle. Than, tinking one of the pots is to blame, I set it up so
that ch brake became the accel, and the right pedal, the accel became
he brake, thinking now only the brake will not work, but I get the
same symptoms! WTH.
Maybe somedoby has an idea left!

Same problem here! I got around it changing the Controller ID Assignment in
the Game Controller panel. I set the pedals on the first (3-axis...with
rudder/pedals) and the wheel second. Then I got into GP3 and changed
everything there. The only problem I've got now is that force feedback wont
work this way in GP3. Somebody please have a better solution!!!

With the new patch, I still have to use Joyregs(http://www.stickworks.com/)
to drive with the CH-pedals. Without it control seems to calibrate fine,
but gas seems to be down always (I didn't test much, because I knew
the old way worked fine and I wanted to see what other things patch
changed). Force feedback works.
My configuration is Win98, Act Labs+ CH pedals.

Yep - I have had both problems.
They obviously never tested with a force feedback wheels but using other
pedals from a gameport.
Ideally I want my joystick on controller 1 and ffwheel on controller
two. That way my flight sims are happy. But as you say - there is no
forcefeedback on that.
GRRR!
We shouldn't have to hack our machines like this. GPL got it right years
ago. Why can't GP3???
