I have installed the GP3 patch and the decrypted .exe file. The game is
much much better, only problem is the pause (P) key doesn't work anymore.
The only way to pause the game is to press escape but then I can't get going
again as I need to hit pause to continue. Anyone else noticed this? The
other keys O,N,SHIFT-Q all work fine!

Ahem. The spacebar has always been 'pause' in GP2 & GP3...

Except when keyboard control is being used, in which case it is 'P'.

Thanks, I found it is now space. Odd how it was P before?

<grin> You're right. I tend to forget that there are people happy
steering with a keyboard...
Martin D. Pay
Could never understand it, myself... And I certainly can't do
it...
Well pre-patch I was steering with a wheel and the Pause key was definatly
P.

I have tried steering with the keyboard, but no matter how I move the
keyboard, the car won't turn. I twist it, I roll it, I take the keyboard
and
shake it left or right...no :> go....

Are you sure you are using the keyboard and not your Etch-a-Scetch? :)

I seem to remember that the fastest times for GP2 were set with the
keyboard. Now REVS I could never master with the keyboard...

That's because GP2 handled like crap with a wheel compared to GP3. The
steering assist was a bit too keyboard friendly aswell. GP3 is pretty weird
using a keyboard but absolutely *rocks* with a good FF wheel.

You're talking about F1GP.
Definitely NOT in GP2.
