Finally, with the release of the D3D patch, I can finally play GPL at
over 10 FPS! WOOHOO!

To speak of that, where might one find this program?

Not necessarily. I was happy to finally get GPL running on my notebook at a
wonderful 36fps, 1024x768, but the simple fact is I don't have the time to
drive all the tracks, and also to strive to improve my performance at each
of them. I'm just happy doing my occasional quick races at Spa, or going
for a tour at the 'Ring. Having GPL does not necessarily mean that one
becomes a GPL fanatic.

Ok, there are a couple of those here.<g>
The majority see it as a fun game, but not something that would ruin their
lives if it were taken away....

I recently picked up a GeForce II MX card, and last night downloaded the d3d
patch so I could run GPL once again. I was flat amazed at the diffference
with my MX card and the d3d patch, versus running it in glide on my V3000
card. It is absolutely gorgeous, and I am very pleased. Getting max frame
rates as well.
