Who was that nice chap from Papy that wrote the Direct3D patch for GPL? Does
he know about the problem with the wrong colours on flags being shown? It's
been reported by far too many people to be a coincidence. Perhaps he might
be able to come up with a fix, if he has time. I've gotten into hot water in
my league with not allowing other drivers to pass because I kept seeing
yellow flags instead of blue! GPL is too damn good to leave this problem
unresolved.
I've seen it as well, you might just have to use the old common sense
flag rule....If someone is behind you, pretty much the flag will be a blue
one.
Out of site accidents will still cause problems...most likely they will be
black
or white so that might help...keep trying.

Presumably the waving flags are graphics that can be edited/replaced?
Maybe they could be fixed by changing the colors to something that
doesn't get messed up (is it a palette prob)? I haven't seen the
problem myself (V5500 under D3D - for hi-res dashes and better 3dwheels
performance).

Before you buy.
Never mind, problem solved. Bought myself a Voodoo4 4500. Now it's perfect.
:) And anti-aliased too!
yes, I'm aware of the flag problem. It wouldn't go away :) I got a bit
ticked
off with it, so haven't looked at the problem since.
Sorry.
