After a computer upgrade and GP3, I tried to go back to GPL to do a few
laps. I find that now my wheel (homemade) steers backwards in GPL. (turn
wheel right, car goes left). Fresh install does same thing. Wheel works
correctly in GP3, and used to be fine in GPL. During my upgrade, I removed
my AMC game card and now have my wheel and CH pedals plugged into my SBL
value card. I use direct input for GPL.
Any ideas on how to fix this for GPL without messing up GP3 ( I want to use
both)
Thanks,
Steve
Try calibrating it backwards.... When it prompts you to steer left, steer
right instead.... Ya never know, it might work?

my wheel right the car wheels move left????

After you've calbibrated your wheel... see the list of controls, top left of
screen? -Click on the "steering" one and when the game asks you to steer
left, steer left. If that reverses the input do it again, but steer right
instead of left. -Continue down the list until everything is set to your
liking...
Hope that clears things up for you.
Jan.

Well you could try calibrating it in such a way that when the game asks you
to turn left you turn it right, wouldn't that correct the problem?

you'll see that something like "axis x+" and "axis x-" are assigned to steer
left and steer right. If you click steer left, gpl will ask you for a
controller input. If you turn the wheel left, gpl automatically assigns
this to steer left and the opposite for steer right. So if you click steer
left, and then turn the wheel right, that should solve the problem.
I suspect the wheel may well be working fine and you could just have the
wrong assignments in the controller screen, I could be wrong though. Either
way the problem isn't with the calibration but the assignment.
