Hi,
Well I've patched GP3 and it is very nice indeed, if only I know what
to do with being able to break and accelerate at the same time.
Anyway, on of the thing that does annoy me is that you can now set the
pit call button to a button on your wheel, but what about some of the
other controls? The gap indicator would be nice.
Oh well,
Bob

Pause, Replay, Pit Entry Toggle, Return To Pits (basically the keys I
use most so I don't have to lean over to reach the keyboard!!)
In GPL, I have PO[Enter], Shift-R, look left and right etc...

Which controller do you use? I use he MS Sidewinder Wheel an i configure the
bottons (exept shift up/down an pit call) through the menue.
To use x, y and z-axis, you first have to configure the wheel through the
windows menue. Then start GP3, go to options, controllers (or whatever it's
called, I have the german version). Make sure the "controller calibration"
button (or similar) is marked. Choose the "braking device" button and double
click "device B". This opens a menue showing the different axis you may use.
Now make sure that the check box on the left of the axix you want to use for
braking is marked. I hope this helps.
To me, slit axis makes a hell of a difference, braking and accelerating is
much smoother and the car more "driveable".
Regards,
Heiko

and didnt do a thorough before-buy-check, it has no split axis-option! I
dont know what to do, stick with it and try to get used to it or return to
the MSFF.

I have the "x" button set for uninstall ! I get very frustrated with GP3,
you see. It just doesn't quite convince me that real F1 cars are remotely
like the cars represented in the game. Also, I have a serious grievance with
the controller se-tup and my Microsoft FF wheel .
