I just got this game, and want to take it as far as I can - kinda like to
find a forum or two, and I'm eagerly awaiting the SBK2001 update to
BHMotorsports. Any fellow bikers out there wanna lend a hand? Thanks
guys...
Im keenish. I was a bit dissapointed with the game because of the way the
bike wheelspins. Its like F1RS.. either it has full wheelspin or no
wheelspin which is totally unrealistic. What update is coming for it.. it
should be could either way. Also the vtr1000 needs to have the rc45 sound
changed

A few questions to add to this, for anyone who knows. I've so far only used
the SBK 2000 demo. I like it. What does 2001 add besides new names and
faces (Fogarty's the only one I know anyway, as I am a car guy... until
now)? OK, umbrella girls as well, I've heard.
Is the driving model improved? Graphics? Is the 2001 edition more hardware
intensive? I get a good framerate on my PIII-500 notebook (using a graphics
chip about on par with an old 8Mb VooDoo2) in SBK2000.
cheers
Stephen

mindblowingly amazing), driving no easier, but controllability and response
improved. I get a little slowdown at the start with 25 bikes and nearly
everything on @ 640x480 (PIII-450 2xV2 SLI). But otherwise I'd say there was
a slight improvement from SBK2000, Rain doesn't really slow procedings
either, which is really reamarkable (I think the extra graphic load is
catered for by cleverly reducing view depth). AI is exemplary, considering
the inherent difficulties. Try the SBK2001 demo and see for yourself.
I too would like to know about online resources for this one. Great fun for
off line.
But for the subject matter and rather poor multiplayer GPL challenging
material, IMO.

Thanks. I didn't know there was a 2001 demo.
